Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 May 2026

Sparrow Interactive Private Limited (“Sparrow”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit sparrowi.com or interact with us, how we use it, the choices you have, and how to reach us with questions. It is published in line with the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and the principles of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

  1. Who We Are

    Sparrow Interactive Private Limited is a phygital experience design studio incorporated in India, with a registered office at 7th Floor, Plot No 19A, Filmcity, Sector 16A, Noida – 201301, India. We also operate from Dubai, UAE, and work with clients across India, the Middle East, and Europe. For the purposes of this Policy, Sparrow is the “data fiduciary” / controller of the personal data described below.

  2. Information We Collect

    We collect information in three broad ways:

    • Information you provide — when you fill out our enquiry form, subscribe to our newsletter, apply for a role, or otherwise contact us, you may share your name, work email, phone number, company name, project intent, timeline, referral source, and any details you include in your message. If you apply for a role, you may also share your CV, portfolio, and links to your work.
    • Information collected automatically — when you browse the Site, our servers and the analytics tools we use may receive standard log data, including your IP address, approximate location, browser and device type, referring URL, pages viewed, and the time and duration of your visit.
    • Cookies and similar technologies — the Site uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, measure performance, and improve the experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect Site functionality.
  3. How We Use Your Information

    We use the information described above to:

    • respond to your enquiry, proposal, or career application;
    • send updates, project reels, or newsletter content you have subscribed to;
    • understand how the Site is used and improve its content, navigation, and performance;
    • carry out internal record-keeping, accounting, and business administration;
    • comply with our legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations; and
    • protect the security and integrity of the Site and our work.
  4. Legal Bases

    Depending on your location, we rely on one or more of the following bases to process your personal data: your consent (for example, when you sign up for the newsletter); the necessity of processing to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (for example, when you submit an enquiry); our legitimate interests in running, securing, and improving our business; and compliance with applicable law.

  5. Sharing and Disclosure

    We do not sell your personal data. We share information only:

    • with our staff and authorised service providers — for example, email, hosting, analytics, and customer-relationship-management providers — who process it on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality obligations;
    • with our affiliates and offices in India and the UAE for the same purposes described in this Policy;
    • with professional advisers (legal, accounting, audit) where reasonably required; and
    • where required by law, court order, regulatory request, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or those of others.
  6. International Transfers

    We operate in India and the UAE and may transfer information between these jurisdictions, as well as to third-party service providers located elsewhere. Where we do so, we take reasonable steps to ensure that the information is protected to the standards described in this Policy and as required by applicable law.

  7. Retention

    We keep your personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes set out above — for example, to respond to your enquiry, manage an ongoing project, maintain business records, or comply with our legal obligations — after which it is deleted or anonymised. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe.

  8. Your Rights

    Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

    • access the personal data we hold about you;
    • ask us to correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data;
    • ask us to delete your data where it is no longer required;
    • withdraw your consent to processing where consent is the basis we rely on;
    • object to or restrict certain types of processing; and
    • lodge a complaint with the relevant data-protection authority.

    To exercise any of these rights, please write to us at privacy@sparrowi.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

  9. Security

    We follow reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include access controls, encryption in transit, and ongoing review of our security practices. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is fully secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

  10. Children

    The Site and our services are not directed at children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

  11. Third-Party Links

    The Site may contain links to third-party websites or platforms — for example, Instagram, LinkedIn, or partner sites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not ours, and we encourage you to review them before sharing any personal data.

  12. Changes to this Policy

    We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects when changes were made. Where the changes are material, we will draw them to your attention on the Site or via the contact details we hold for you.

  13. Contact and Grievance Officer

    For privacy enquiries, please write to privacy@sparrowi.com.

    In accordance with Rule 5(9) of the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, our Grievance Officer can be reached at:
